worldbuilding

always loved worldbuilding for the sake of it. was part of a conworlder clique in middle school. we often reenacted our stories using lego pieces and had a chaotic wiki that has since become lost media.

in high school i started playing d&d with other friends and had the honor/burden of always being the DM. that was the perfect outlet for my worldbuilding urges and that's how the Tolom came to be. the first adventures were self contained and only featured one planet each but towards the end of our journey they became more interconnected while the story built towards a multiversal threat.

a new wiki was created back then to keep track of the various characters and adventures while they were happening (and to pretend it was a tv series). it's still here somewhere, although the pages are written in italian.

one of my first inspirations was mark rosenfelder, specifically his books the planet construction kit and the language construction kit.
